Tullio Levi-Civita Lectures

In honor of the famous Italian Mathematical Physicist Tullio Levi-Civita, and in the framework of the activities of the International Research Center MeMoCS, the Levi Civita Lectures will be established commencing in 2013.

The Levi Civita Lectures will be held regularly and will have as their objective the presentation of the works of a single well-established scientist, who will be the recipient of the International Levi Civita Prize, and two young promising researchers.

The lectures will be held alternately in the Mathematics Department “Castelnuovo” (where Levi-Civita worked and were his successors are now continuing his scientific tradition), and in the International Research Center MeMoCS.
